After A Woman Shared Photos Of Her Honeymoon, Her Dad Decided To Epically Troll Her

Following the rise of social media and communication apps, we can now stay in touch with our loved ones from anywhere in the world. As a result, 26-year-old newlywed Natasha Stroup was able to take full advantage of that, sharing pictures from her honeymoon in November 2018. However, her father then decided to troll her.

A resident of the town of Hazel in South Dakota, Natasha’s dad, Tracy Fritz, is a farmer, working on his own land. In July 2018, though, he swapped his working clothes for a suit, as his daughter married her partner, Josh. Following the ceremony, Stroup then made a heartfelt post on Instagram.

“Josh and I couldn’t be happier,” Stroup wrote in July 2018. “Yesterday was our dream come true. [Thanks] to everyone that came to celebrate with us and made our day so special. And to our families that made our day possible! Much love, Mr. and Mrs. Stroup.”

While Stroup’s father needed to use his hands for farming, she used her digits in a very different line of work. Indeed, the 26-year-old was a masseuse before making an interesting career change. She had, in fact, decided to become a nail stylist, selling the Color Street brand nail polish.

After making the switch, Stroup then explained her reasoning, noting that she didn’t previously have an interest in selling products. “Color Street changed my mind,” she wrote on the brand’s website. “I’m a licensed massage therapist so, [as] you can imagine, I use my hands a lot.”

“Well, I was pleasantly surprised to see that even after massaging, my nails didn’t chip or smudge like ‘normal’ nails have,” Stroup continued. “And the best part is I’m saving money [cutting out] the expensive spa costs. So, give it a try, you won’t be disappointed! I’m so excited to be your stylist!”

Meanwhile, despite enjoying a summer wedding, the Stroups didn’t immediately head off for their honeymoon. Instead, the newlyweds waited until November 2018, taking a trip to Hawaii. During their time there, the 26-year-old snapped some photographs, before sharing them with her family.

The photos of Stroup’s honeymoon included shots of a flower and her time on a beach, with a particular focus on her wedding ring and painted nails. However, after receiving the snaps from his daughter, Fritz decided to respond. “She was showing the scenery around her,” he recalled to Buzzfeed News in November 2018. “I just thought I’d show the scenery around me.”

With that in mind, Fritz looked to take advantage of his surroundings, as he was at work when Stroup sent the photos to the family. Aiming to troll his daughter, the dad then went about recreating her honeymoon snaps around his farm, with hilarious results.

After seeing the photo of the blossoming flower, Fritz subsequently pointed his camera at a growing corn cob in his field, taking the snap at an identical angle. He then went on to recreate the shot of Stroup’s hand on the beach, with a picture of his own hand, covered in dirt after working on the farm.

The final image took on a similar idea, as Fritz looked to spoof the shot of Stroup’s hand and feet in the sand. Instead of a sunny beach, though, the dad’s identical snap was taken on an overcast day in his field, capturing his work boots.

From there, Fritz then sent his photos to Stroup, which prompted her to show them to Josh. “I was like, ‘seriously, look at what my dad just sent me,’” she recalled to Buzzfeed News. “He’s just a smart aleck. He didn’t say anything. He literally sent the photos, that’s it.”

However, no one could’ve predicted what happened next, as Stroup’s younger sister, Kylie Fritz, got hold of the snaps. Amused by her dad’s trolling, she then shared the photos on her Twitter account. “My sister is in Hawaii right now and sent pics to the group message. And my dad responds with this,” Kylie wrote in the accompanying tweet.

Before long, Fritz’s photos went viral on the social media website. Indeed, the tweet earned over 35,000 likes from online users, as well as close to 3,000 retweets. Meanwhile, Kylie’s post also garnered a number of comments, all hailing her dad’s sense of humor.

“I love your dad!” wrote Twitter user ash. “Protect him at all costs!” Those sentiments were reiterated by fellow user MzVela, who also reserved some kind words for Stroup. “Congrats to your sister,” she wrote in the comments section. “Your dad’s humor is tops!”

Meanwhile, Twitter user Debbie Wilks touched on the humorous dynamic between Stroup and her dad. “That’s too funny!” she wrote. “What a playful family.” Elsewhere, fellow user Hi Louis, I’m Sheldon revealed which set of photos they preferred. “Honestly, your dad’s pics [look] better,” they said.

On that note, user Lynn then drew a parallel between the photos of Stroup that showcased her wedding ring on the beach, highlighting that Fritz was missing his. “Someone put a ring on that man’s hand!” she wrote in the comments section.

As the pictures continued to grow in popularity online, Kylie then explained why she felt the need to share them, crediting Fritz in the process. “I just thought it was funny,” she recalled to Buzzfeed News. “I think my dad’s funny. He doesn’t think he is.”

Fritz then offered up a heartwarming explanation as to why he recreated Natasha’s pictures, hinting that Kylie’s latter assessment was incorrect. “I’m glad I could make my daughter popular,” he said. “[I was] just trying to make [Stroup] laugh.”

Consequently, Fritz was pressed for the answer to an important question. Did the jokester succeed in his aim? “There’s a possibility,” the farmer responded to Buzzfeed News. However, if Stroup didn’t find her dad’s photos funny, there are plenty of others across the internet who did.
