In a Massachusetts woodland, a man and his son realize that there’s something buried in the ground on their property. So, they dig it up to investigate – but are left puzzled by what they find. The pair therefore call upon Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz to find out more. And with the help of these experts, they soon discover that they’ve unearthed a heap of rock-and-roll history.

Wolfe and Fritz are known as the American Pickers and have a show of the same name on the History Channel. The series – which started in 2010 and has now run to an impressive 19 seasons – follows the two men as they search the U.S. for antique items.

As to why the pair are called “pickers”? Well, it’s because they pick – or, rather, buy – valuable items. The reality stars then resell the pieces, keep them personally or pass them on to consumers. And over the years, they have found many noteworthy collectibles.
